Zweiwöchiger Segelflug-Kurs der Akaflieg Frankfurt für Studierende und Hochschulangehörige.
Ziel: Basis für den Alleinflug. Unter günstigen Bedingungen ist ein Alleinflug bereits im Kurs möglich.
Es empfiehlt sich ein "Schnupperflug" vor Kursbeginn auf dem Flugplatz in Schwalmstadt-Ziegenhain.
Für sehr große (ab 1.95 m) und sehr schwere (ab 100 kg) Personen ist eine Sitzprobe vor dem Kurs erforderlich!

Leistungen:

Two-week Gliding Course by Akaflieg Frankfurt for Students and University Members
Goal:
To provide the foundation for a first solo flight. Under favorable conditions, a solo flight may already be possible during the course.
It is recommended to take a “trial flight” before the course begins at the airfield in Schwalmstadt-Ziegenhain.
For very tall participants (from 1.95 m / 6'5") and very heavy participants (from 100 kg / 220 lbs), a seat fitting is required before the course.
Dates and Costs
- August 17 – August 28, 2026
- €690 / €740 (registration before / after April 30) for students, pupils, and trainees
- €840 / €890 (registration before / after April 30) for others
Included services:
- 50 training launches (thermal flights longer than 15 minutes count as multiple launches)
- Accommodation (lodging/camping)
Not included in the price:
- Travel to and from the location
- Meals (approx. €70 per week)
- Aviation medical examination
