Salsa Cubana, also known as Cuban-style Salsa or Casino, is a dynamic partner dance that originated in Cuba. The dance emphasizes the body’s natural flow of movement and focuses on walking and moving with your partner around the dance floor in a circular motion. Spontaneous creativity, musicality and improvisation is encouraged and shapes each dancer’s individual style. Salsa Cubana is danced at social dance events and also forms the basis of Rueda de Casino.
For all courses: No fixed partner is needed — we rotate frequently to maximize learning.

We will have a 30-minute break (20:00-20:30) between the two levels and encourage participants from both levels to stay during this break. During this time, we will play music, dance together in a mini social, and occasionally include Rueda animations.
